Life Experiments

Not a life overhaul.
A life experiment.

The Reinvention Labs

There are moments in life when something starts to feel different.

The career you built no longer fits in the same way.

The life you worked so hard to create starts to feel slightly misaligned.

A quiet curiosity keeps returning.

A new version of you begins to ask for attention.

But knowing something needs to shift doesn’t mean you’re ready to make a big leap.

You may not want to quit your job, move cities, start over, retrain, launch a business, or make a dramatic decision before you understand what you’re really moving towards.

That’s where Life Experiments come in.

What is a Life Experiment?

A Life Experiment is a small, intentional test designed around a question you’re carrying.

It helps you explore a possible direction in a grounded, low-risk way before making a bigger life decision.

Instead of trying to solve your whole future at once, you choose one area of curiosity and design a simple experiment around it.

That might look like speaking to people in an industry you’re drawn to, testing a creative idea, exploring a different work rhythm, researching a lifestyle shift, prototyping a business concept, or spending time with a part of yourself you’ve been ignoring.

The point isn’t to find the perfect answer immediately.

The point is to gather real insight.

This is for people who want to explore change with more care, structure and support.

Who it's for

Life Experiments are for people who feel somewhere between what was and what’s next.

You might be:

  • Successful on paper, but quietly disconnected from the life you’ve built.

  • Curious about a different career, creative path, lifestyle, or way of working.

  • Feeling pulled towards change, but unsure whether it’s realistic.

  • Craving more meaning, freedom, expression, connection, or clarity.

  • Carrying a question you can’t quite ignore anymore.

  • Not ready to blow everything up, but no longer willing to stay completely still

How it works

We’re currently shaping Life Experiments as an intimate guided cohort experience.

The first version will be a small group journey designed to help you move from vague uncertainty into one real-world experiment.

  • We begin by looking honestly at where you are now.

    What no longer feels aligned?
    What feels unclear?
What are you tired of carrying?
What keeps calling for your attention?

This is not about forcing a breakthrough. It’s about creating enough space to hear what is already there.

  • From there, we help you identify one possible direction to test.

    - Not your whole life.
    - Not your entire future.
    - Just one meaningful question.

    For example:

Could I enjoy working in a different industry?
Do I want to make creativity a bigger part of my life?
Would a different work rhythm change how I feel?
Is this business idea something I actually want to pursue?
What would it feel like to live with more space, presence or freedom?

Together, we turn that question into a small experiment.

  • Your experiment might involve conversations, research, small creative projects, shadowing someone, taking a short class, testing a new routine, mapping practical realities, or prototyping an idea.

It should be small enough to actually do, but meaningful enough to teach you something.

    The aim is not performance.
    The aim is information.

  • After the experiment, we look at what you learned.

    What felt energising?
    What felt forced?
    What surprised you?
    What became clearer?
What did your body, energy or attention tell you?
What might the next small step be?

The experiment may confirm a direction. It may close one down. It may reveal something unexpected.

    All of that is useful

Examples of Life Experiments

A creative agency founder curious about children’s book illustration might..

speak to illustrators, research publishing pathways, test a visual style and create a small sample spread.

A senior professional questioning their career might...

interview five people in a different field before deciding whether to retrain.

A parent feeling pulled between ambition and presence might...

test a new working rhythm for a month.

A founder with a new idea might...

run a small validation project before building the full thing.

Walk in the Wild

Every experiment is different because every life is different.

What you’ll leave with

By the end of the experience, you should have:

A clearer understanding of the question you’re carrying.

One practical Life Experiment designed around your real life.

Support from a small group of people also navigating change.

A more grounded sense of what feels aligned, possible or worth exploring next.

A next step that comes from lived insight, not just overthinking.

What this is not

This is not therapy.

It is not traditional coaching.

It is not a productivity programme.

It is not about forcing you to find your purpose in four weeks.

And it is not about encouraging reckless life changes.

Life Experiments are for thoughtful exploration. They are designed to help you move carefully, honestly and with support.

The first Interluda Life Experiments cohort is currently being shaped.

It will be intimate, guided and designed for people navigating a personal or professional crossroads.

If this speaks to something you’re carrying, register your interest and we’ll let you know when applications open.
